Drake Gun Dogs was built with one goal in mind. To provide professional training and dependable care for dogs in a clean, structured environment.
What started as an old field trial and horse barn has been brought back to life as the home of Drake Gun Dogs.
We renovated the space with dogs in mind, creating a facility where dogs can be trained, boarded, handled, and cared for the right way.
Today, the barn still carries the character of what it once was, but everything about the facility is focused on the dogs we train and board every day.
Our Approach
Good training is built through structure, consistency, and clear communication.
Every dog is different. Some dogs need confidence. Some need control. Some need a stronger foundation before they can move forward.
At Drake Gun Dogs, dogs are trained as individuals. We do not believe in rushing dogs through a checklist just to say they completed a program.
The goal is to build dogs that are more dependable, more confident, and better prepared for life at home, in the field, or in the kennel.
